FAQ's
IT is being applied to almost all facets of life to improve information flow across the globe. In health sciences arena, health informatics, medical informatics, biomedical informatics, nursing informatics, clinical informatics, pharmacy informatics, drug informatics, etc. are being widely practised as service oriented technologies.
The field of pharmacoinformatics is emerging as a new discipline, as a result of the integration of bioinformatics, chemo-informatics, chemogenomics, in silico ADMET methods, pharmacyinformatics, etc., especially catering to the needs of the pharmaceutical sciences by providing the scientific as well as technical tools.
